On Tuesday 04 February 2025, IPSTC welcomed Mr. Pascal Ratte, the Deputy Director Directorate of Military Training and Cooperation (DMTC), Canada, with whom a productive discussion was held. During the meeting, he was provided with an in-depth overview of the Centre's activities, highlighting the key projects and initiatives undertaken over the years. There was also a reflection of the Centre's longstanding partnership with Canada, which has been in place since 2011.

The United Nations (UN) Police Adviser, Police Commissioner Faisal Shahkar visited participants of the UN Police Commanders Course at the International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC). During his visit, he engaged with the participants, emphasizing the significance of the course in shaping effective peacekeepers. He underscored the critical role of the three core components—military, police, and civilian personnel—working together in harmony to achieve shared objectives in peace operations. He also expressed his gratitude to the Government of Kenya and IPSTC for their unwavering support in facilitating the course, highlighting the vital role that partnerships play in strengthening global peacekeeping efforts.
