The Second Cohort English All Arms Search (AASC) Training of Trainers (TOT) Course officially commenced at the Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) in Embakasi. The course sponsored by the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and facilitated by HPSS Instructors is scheduled to run for four weeks and is designed to enhance the capacity of trainers in conducting effective search operations across joint environments. With a focus on interoperability, instructional techniques, and operational effectiveness, the program aims to empower the trainers with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver standardized and mission-ready search training across all units.
AASC 2
The Deputy Commandant HPSS Lieutenant Colonel Kaptuway welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of the training in strengthening institutional capacity. He highlighted that the module has been designed to equip individuals with the skills needed to effectively deliver future All Arms Search Courses within their respective units and organizations. He noted that beyond gaining practical field competencies, the participants would also acquire essential instructional tools, enabling them to transfer this critical knowledge to others.

The course has 16 participants from South Africa and Tanzania.
