IPSTC ACHIEVES ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION

IPSTC celebrated its achievement of being awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to excellence. The ceremony, honored by the presence of Vice Chief of Defence Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General C M Kahariri, marked his inaugural visit to the Centre, during which he unveiled and formally presented the certificate to IPSTC.

In his address, the VCDF hailed the achievement as not only a victory for the institution but also for the entire KDF and the nation. He emphasized that IPSTC serves as a beacon of excellence, setting an exemplary standard for quality and performance that inspires all training institutions within the KDF.

The Director of IPSTC, Brigadier Joyce Sitienei, highlighted the significance of the certification, noting that it strategically affirms IPSTC's fulfilment of standardization requirements, quality assurance, and recognized quality management systems. Moreover, it bolsters credibility and trust among customers, clients, and partners by confirming IPSTC's adherence to global standards in matters concerning peace support operations.

This certification, integrated into our 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, underscores our unwavering dedication to delivering top-tier service to our clients and stakeholders. Also present at the ceremony was IPSTC’s Joint Control Board Chair, Assistant Chief of Defence Forces in charge of Operation, Planning, Doctrine and Training (ACDF OPD&T) Major General Fredrick Leuria, JCB Members and its dedicated staff.
