CANADA DIRECTORATE OF MILITARY TRAINING AND COOPERATION HPSS VISIT

Ensuing yesterday's visit, the Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) in Embakasi today Hosted the Program Officer, Directorate of Military Training and Cooperation, Director of National Defence of Government of Canada, Mr Paul Light accompanied by the Deputy Defence Advisor Canada Lt Col Andy Wood. He was given a warm reception by the Senior Instructor, Peace Support Operations, Lt Col K Opiyo.

He began the visit by receiving an extensive brief of HPSS and the training programs carried out at the school.

Mr Light then went ahead to interact with our Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) training wing, where he was given detailed CIED awareness training.

The visit culminated with our commemorating tree-planting session.
