UNIVERSITY OF THE BUNDESWEHR MUNICH GERMANY STUDY TOUR TO IPSTC

A delegation from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, led by Professor Dr. Daniel Erasmus Khan paid an Academic Research and Study Tour to our Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) campus at Embakasi.The delegation was accompanied by the Defence Attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kenya, Commander Hogler Grossman, and were warmly welcomed by the HPSS Commandant, Col John Rongoei.

They received a comprehensive briefing on the overview of IPSTC, with special attention to HPSS and its efforts to improve readiness through peace support operations training.
Discussions were held in relation to regional security and geopolitics.

The visit culminated with a tour of the Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Complex, whose construction is funded by the German government through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
